The Eyes are enormous spherical objects that serve as miniature worlds. Constructed from the substance of Chaos, each is a vast earth mote or the amalgamation of hundreds of them. The Third Instructor was the chief architect and visionary behind their creation; the Artificers of 3-I were responsible for their construction.
During the Creation War, the Eyes operated as mobile citadels, swiftly traversing the Astral Sea to bolster the Covenant 's military campaign.

- The Icarus Core: The heart of every Eye is an Icarus Core, a high-level propulsion system from the Lost Ages. These cores are "insane tech" that provide not only hyper-astral mobility but also the internal environmental systems (gravity and atmosphere) that allow 50,000 souls to live on a rock like the Eye of Gith.
