Type arcane lore

A blutium golem represents the pinnacle of construct construction. These formidable entities are crafted from costly materials, with the primary component being blutium, a remarkably resilient and challenging-to-forge metal. Blutium golems boast exceptional armor, robust health, and impressive speed, though their offensive capabilities may not match the raw power of an iron golem.

The first blutium golem was unnaturally created in Nelaryotar. This occurred when a powerful force shattered an iron golem. The golem was resurrected from the abundant arcane energy in Nelaryotar, but instead of reforming as another iron golem, it was reconstructed from blutium.

The "Unnatural" Resurrection

The origin of the first Blutium Golem in the forest of Nelaryotar perfectly mirrors the behavior of blutoids:

  • System Reconstitution: When the iron golem was shattered in the Nelaryotar forest, the "abundant arcane energy" acted as a power surge that activated dormant Lost Ages nanites embedded in the local scrap.
  • The Material Swap: Rather than repairing the iron, these nanites—acting like the "automated waste-processing" units found in blutoids—stripped nearby irradiated blutium scrap to build a more resilient "Type VI" chassis.

Years later, Gimir-Zarun and a dozen eldritch giants captured this entity. They transported the blutium golem to Belêth-Kazîr and reverse-engineered the process of creating blutium golems. This knowledge then spread, driven by the desire for gold and plunder.
