Belêth-Kazîr was constructed during the Lith-Crillion Era by the courageous figure Gimir-Zarun and a cadre of eldritch giants profoundly enamored with the arcane arts and their own individual edification. Their experiments irrevocably transformed the Nelaryotar Forest.

In this gleaming spire, a deranged Lith-Crillion employed proscribed sorcery, generating a spatial rift, substituting a woodland on the planet of Kriav with one from our own realm.

The supposed temporary nature of this alien forest remains shrouded in mystery, perhaps due to a disruption in the arcane energies of the Web. Regrettably, it appears this otherworldly woodland is now condemned to an eternal captivity.

With the advent of the magical monsters and anomalies of Nelaryotar, foreign to this realm, Belêth-Kazîr was fortified. A series of permanent prismatic barriers were erected to safeguard vulnerable areas, and numerous golems were fabricated to assist in guarding the locale. These defenses could not halt the instability provoked by the arcane energy surging through the forest. Consequently, segments of Belêth-Kazîr defy the principles of physics and structural integrity. This is manifested in walkways jutting out from the edifice, unsupported yet as sturdy as if they were, and towers positioned at right angles to the central structure, which would typically collapse due to lack of support.

Inside Belêth-Kazîr lies the arcane forge known as the Gimir-Zarun Arcaneum. This potent device has been utilized to craft blutium golems, the Robes of Belêth-Kazîr, and an abundance of other enchanted artifacts such as cloaks, robes, staffs, rods, and wands.

Belêth-Kazîr is a renowned center of arcane scholarship, rivaling esteemed institutions such as Belras Foroderch and the Magis Institute. The institution is overseen by eldritch giants and maintains a generally impartial stance in its interactions with visitors and the surrounding regions.
