Belephant-Elebros was constructed during the Horgon Era by settlers from Charda'thrae. Located on the belt islands of the Cthorgo Sea, it served as a strategic chokepoint for vessels traversing the Great Tradeway and the surrounding waters, especially in times of conflict with rival factions.

In 1145, Belephant-Elebros secretly joins the Chari'they Alliance, promising future aid in an attack on their long-standing rival, the city-state of Duluk-Zirag. During the Tradeway Wars (1131 - 1231), in 1170, Belephant-Elebros was captured by the navy of Arazindam.
