Bein Lom, a Draconic term meaning Foul Water, was so designated due to the dark, polluted waters it accumulates in the lower reaches of Krein Jusk, where it absorbs the contaminated outflow from Tauth'ghourn.
The broad, gentle Bein Lom River meanders for five hundred miles from the Sosin Luv Lake in the northwest to the Sea of Mourning in the southeast. This waterway serves as the domain for "super otters", dragon-like serpents, massive predatory fish, and the occasional dragon, with the black dragon being the most prevalent, particularly near the Tauth'ghourn wetlands.
