In 1505, construction commenced on an underground sanctuary situated hundreds of feet beneath the Branchard hills. Belonging to Lenassu Dras'ee, it functioned as a wizard's laboratory and a site for devising strategies against the theocratic Khazarkar Empire.
In 1802, while the construction of Ragongrak was underway, laborers began to vanish. Investigating the cause, a concealed passage was unearthed in a narrow, tangled canyon. Experienced adventurers, the Crimson Eye board of directors ventured into the Spirit Crypt through this hidden passage. Their expedition journals recount encounters with golems, including a blutium golem, ghosts, the former lover of Vargonivus, and other undead and artificial entities, all guardians installed by the labyrinth's previous owner.
