Ragongrak serves as the central hub for the enterprise known as Crimson Eye. Through a century-long lease agreement with the High Command, and covert military support, Crimson Eye acquired rights to the disputatious Branchard hills, as well as a section of Inghild just south of the Vale of Thaena.

The band of adventurers-turned-board members, known as Crimson Eye, spared no expense in constructing the company headquarters. Engineered by the stone giants of Tharum, the contract's mission was to create a structure that would be intimidating to an army of less than 100,000 and possess the grandeur of a Covenant Holy Bastion.

They arrived bearing the immense wealth of an empire and technology seldom witnessed in this region - ships of the stars, as well as a lengthy train of supplies and cannons transported all the way from Collossapolos. Their headquarters was constructed, the fortifications erected within five years, the magnificence of ancient citadels persisting.

In the Crimson Offensive (1804 - 1810), Ragongrak successfully repelled six assaults by the Toomrur Hegemony. The Crimson Fury, the sole cannon to emerge from the conflict without a shattered barrel, still guards the citadel's river approach. Reinforced and enchanted to the highest quality, it fires a volley of rounds equivalent to four medium cannons.
