When an individual is dropped into a Cube of Arcane, this event is referred to as a Cube Drop. This is frequently employed against highly perilous foes, where there is a risk that if their remains are discovered, they may potentially be resurrected. Dropping someone into the Cube also traps their psyche within, preventing them from transitioning to a Soul Gathering System or benefiting from a Soul Storage Depot.
The first recorded instance of dropping a prisoner into it occurred during the Dawn Era when Ares "accidentally" pushed Cari'phis into Bal-Kriav's Cube. Belras Foroderch researchers assert that the unnatural blue-ice of Ice Cap and the volatile landscape of Gludragh resulted from Cari'phis's psyche persisting, even after the annihilation of her physical form.
