In 1521, this canyon was the site of a three-week confrontation between a Jara Horde, the Pig Tramplers, and a chaotic army from the Neeth-Theen domain. One of the renowned figures from this battle was Ushgergoon, a formidable slaad leader said to have waded into the Jara ranks, felling three or four with each mighty strike.
