Map Anutoth

The Bopharan Jungle stretches between the imposing Kilth Mountains and the shores of Bloodtusk Bay, extending southward to the Minotaur Inlet. This lush, tropical region is characterized by a dense, sweltering environment, with game trails serving as the primary routes of navigation. Traversal through the area is typically facilitated by the Ralban River.

In the Demon Spawn War, Bopharan served as a jungle warfare training ground for soldiers educated at Gamba-Nîr. One ethnic group of soldiers who frequently occupied this region were the Tragarans. They were intentionally assessed to determine their capacity for thriving in the jungle milieu. Consequently, they became known as the Tûrugul, a specialized variant of the Tragaran lineage, exceptionally adapted to the jungle terrain.

During the reign of the Reds of Kilth and then Varelay, this jungle functioned as a haven for rebels. The Reds were unable to subdue this region, while the demons of Varelay and their slave armies perished in large numbers attempting to suppress the insurgents. The jungle's discontented denizens of the present day, constantly vigilant, prey upon traffic traveling between the three principal settlements of the area: Tâchumâz along the bay, Mieldroon to the north, and Felak to the southeast.
