Chain Jack was constructed in 1714 by a Maug construction company named Measure & Fortify. It is one of a series of immense fortresses that help impede the advancing Tendrils of Taurquion. Heavily fortified, Chain Jack is built with iron-clad timbers, an abundance of metal, and concrete walls reinforced with steel. These metal behemoths tower over the landscape, appearing more akin to Mechanus than this realm. Chain Jack is equipped with an array of machine-driven defenses and bristles with cannons. Another of its defensive measures are massive barbed chains mounted on spindles. When all of them are spinning, the site produces a resounding hum audible for miles around.
