The Copper Flow is a rugged valley carving through the Kanorthak mountains. Nestled near the center of this valley are the skull-adorned walls of Broken Teeth.
The Copper Flow region was named for its seemingly endless veins of copper ore. The material was once so prevalent that it could be collected directly from the ground, streams, or shallow excavations. Nowadays, the copper ore is primarily found within the valley's numerous mines, numbering close to a hundred, many of which remain operational. When the Drugnod Dynasty came to power, the mines were placed under state control to limit production, primarily to regulate supply and curb corruption. This policy has remained largely unchanged since its inception. The massive copper reserves in Broken Teeth are such that the metal is utilized for decorative purposes throughout the city.
Copper Flow is a blustery locale during the autumnal and wintry months. These southerly gusts are christened the Steppe Winds. In the remaining seasons, the valley experiences an unusual zephyr emanating from the valley's southern aperture. This northward-blowing wind is the Copper Breeze. This gentle zephyr is a byproduct of the Northern Hordelands' perpetual tempest known as the Primordial Storm.
