When the Drugnod Dynasty took control, the gnoll chieftains and other tribal leaders of Zyrath were compelled or obligated to convene and establish territorial agreements. This process, marked by a century of internal strife, ultimately ushered in a period of stability in a region that had endured seemingly endless tribal conflicts since the Horgon Era.

One of the territories established under the Drugnod Dynasty was the region where the Broken Teeth tribe had been centered. By 612, a permanent settlement had emerged in an area once used for nomadic encampments. This settlement of the Broken Teeth tribe, named after them, grew in significance and prosperity due to its strategic locale between three tribes and a mineral-rich valley. This valley is widely recognized as Copper Flow owing to the nearly hundred active mines of this abundant metal.

In all estimates, Copper Flow stands as the source for 60% of the known world's copper coinage. Broken Teeth, the commercial epicenter for the gnolls of Garormuk, possesses such an abundance of the material that its economy struggles to accommodate the excess, leading to its use in wrapping columns, plating the ceilings of the affluent, and other lavish applications.

The Black Tide never ventured northward after the Black Tide War (1465 - 1486), consequently Pinth's military expedition to loot the city never materialized.

Broken Teeth is dwarfed by the imposing Kanorthak mountains. The city is battered by gusts that sweep down the valley from the north. When the northern winds abate, a gentle current wafts in from the southern end - this is the renowned Copper Breeze.
