The Demons Ladder is a formidable canyon within the subterranean domain of Vul Sahsir. During the Demon Spawn War (89 GE - 269 GE), this canyon served as the northern invasion route for the demonic armies under Orcus. Their campaign commenced after emerging from the rift at Ghak. The armies could then either travel northward to the Demons Ladder and ascend to the surface, or venture eastward to two other nearby canyons closer to Ghak. The Demons Ladder presented a much lengthier march. Orcus strategically utilized this canyon to keep his forces concealed within the subterranean realm, shielding them from the aerial assaults of Bahamut's dragon soldiers.
