This fetid, mosquito-infested swamp lies within the Grish Valley, which cuts through the Giant Steps. It is the territory of Queen Thryunkian and her chaotic minions. This hag was exiled from the Abyss due to her intrigues in the affairs of Orcus. In exchange for aid in dark rituals, she was summoned to Bal-Kriav by the Mad Wizard Flay. She now governs the marshes and terrorizes the Githirmil, dwarves, and humanoid settlements in the surrounding region.
