Orukhan is a substantial lake situated on the western edge of the Northern Hordelands. Much of the water flowing into this lake originates from Lake Radullu, a smaller, artificial lake situated above Orukhan on a high plateau. This plateau exhibits an unusual composition, suggesting either divine intervention or contamination from Chaos. Ancient records indicate that during the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), a primordial entity named Sarseg opened the Radullu Rift from atop this plateau. Later, when the Covenant general Silvanus succeeded in submerging the rift's other end on the planet Throndar, it led to a torrent of water spilling across the plateau and over its sides. The creation of the Radullu Rift resulted in the formation of Lake Radullu and the expansion of Lake Orukhan, as well as the emergence of the Engargin mires and far-reaching effects deep into the Troll Bogs.
In the northernmost regions of Orukhan lies the Isle of Hraenar and the venerable city of Incubus.
