Phalkhîr is a densely forested, labyrinthine region in central Melvad. Bisected by the Dargirth river, the eastern side of the forest is characterized by an abundance of swamps and bogs. An untamed wilderness, Phalkhîr serves as the domain of giant spiders, lamia, leucrotta, displacer beasts, and other perilous entities. Furthermore, the flora of this area harbors an unusually elevated concentration of carnivorous, mobile plant species.
