The Ruzun mountain range lies in the southwestern expanse of the Northern Hordelands. By the First Epoch, ten Gnoll tribes and twice as many Goblins mined these peaks for silver and iron. The settlement of Flakk emerged from these mining endeavors.
In the northernmost region of Ruzun lies the volcano Traeulf. In the year 1642, it erupted violently, annihilating the population of Hinnbjalf and transforming the northern portion of Jadvild into a barren volcanic landscape.
