Sôvib-Sir is a gloomy, shallow lake nestled in the farthest reaches of Othrangad. Merely a tenth of the lake's expanse is visible above the surface, the remainder concealed within the Underdark. An eerie stillness pervades the area, broken only by the faint trickle of water cascading down the chasm walls.
Sôvib-Sir flows southward along a narrow channel that leads to the Sea of Mourning. During the Artery War (1546 - 1554), numerous fleeing Black Tide soldiers sought refuge in the ancient mine shafts of Othrangad, following marked routes that guided them to barges positioned along the shores. These barges then transported the soldiers to the breakwaters of the Sea of Mourning, where they boarded ships bound for Necrocrypt.
