This northwestern spur off the Sorrow Road is known as Surturs Torch. It is flanked by towers that once blazed brightly during the grand festivities of Hinnbjalf. The road stretches westward to two ferry towns situated along the Ithen River. Beyond this river, the path continues onward to the gates of Hinnbjalf.
