Surturs Eyebrow is a lava river traversing much of the Underdark sector Tiyaphis. Numerous rivulets branch off it, rendering it a veritable natural maze. Abandoned lava tubes, now devoid of molten rock, dot the river and surrounding areas. The central flow is designated Surturs Eyebrow, while the peripheral rivulets and tubes may bear other names or remain unnamed.
In the Varelay Upheaval, mining by topsiders triggered an enormous collapse along the primary artery. This culminated in violent volcanic eruptions across Tha'lith. The pressure from the sealed-off flow was forced down smaller tubes, causing Hen'khas's volcanoes to become highly active.
In the year 16 HE, four centuries subsequent to the catastrophic collapse, molten rock and subterranean pressure eventually breached the surface, leading to a gradual decrease in volcanic activity.
The fiery peaks of Surtur's Eyebrow fuel the volcanoes of Hen'khas's, serving as a vital trade route for the scorching inhabitants of both Dhark Bolg and the surface realm above.
