The Svarmaer is a dilapidated bridge situated near the northern extremity of the Eldorien river. This marvel of colossal engineering was constructed by the stone giants of the Gadstill Dynasty. It was erected to link their western territories centered at Bor with their eastern dominions focused around Aemar. The bridge was intended to serve as a safer passage, evading the horrors of the proximate Barad Ruld bay.
When constructed, the Svarmaer bridge stretched across the Eldorien, nearly a mile in width at that time. Following the fall of the Gadstill Dynasty, the bridge succumbed to the ravages of time and the elements. The spans collapsed as the support structures were worn down by the Eldorien's seasonally powerful torrents, and earthquakes destroyed additional portions. Today, only twelve towering support structures remain standing. The rest of the structure lies scattered along the river bottom or across the banks. Some of the support structures now host seasonal nests of the massive roc birds atop them.
