In the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), Tarâk fell out of favor with a multitude of primordial lords. Evading the hunting parties, he escaped by excavating a deep borehole spanning a hundred feet wide and ten miles deep. Late in the Horgon Era, stone giants settled near what became known as Tarâk's Burrow. They constructed the grand citadel of Saer'kal and built a magnificent church around the mouth of this borehole.
