Ungarmuk is an unnatural desert flanked by the Ugradrath mountains. It was formed by the opening of the Sand Spitter rift. The fine yellow sand of this area is constantly blown across the rift, originating from an Elemental Ring World called Granitoid. Sometimes, Earthen accidentally come through this one-way rift, lost in a sandstorm or blown into it by the ferocity of the storm. The earth elementals that find themselves in this desert are highly sought after for their exceptional skills in mining and engineering, and are frequently captured by slavers. Mining companies and even the Orchish Empire are the primary buyers of these earth elementals.
