Granitoid is one of the four Elemental Ring Worlds located on the periphery of Chaos. It was brought into existence on 5 Lunar 1486 DE by a primordial creationist named Storrralk. Situated in close proximity to the edge of Chaos, it became a focal point for entropic energy. During the Dawn Era, like the other worlds too proximate to Chaos, it became a locus for a particular form of energy. Granitoid evolved into a realm where Earth Energy functions considerably more efficiently than on other worlds.
Many inhabitants of the world Bal-Kriav originate from Granitoid. They typically arrive via the Togomund Sink or ephemeral rifts that occasionally manifest along the Earth Seam.
In the year 420 HE, a rebellion in Megabreccia facilitated the liberation of thousands of enslaved individuals. One group, the Bimothak, under the auspices of Ptah, fled to the distant realm of Bal-Kriav.
