The Mammoth Sledge is an oversized +4 warhammer. Its mithril haft is attached to a hammer head crafted from the reinforced bone knee caps of a fabled Jara Khan known as Bone Pounder.
Made by a Bloodbeard smith named Kûnar, this formidable weapon was first wielded by General Akropholous. Owned for ten seasons, it then fell to another at the siege of Fort Hellstorm. The general of Fort Hellstorm, a War Troll named Ribsplitter, utilized it for three seasons. Tragically lost in another attack on his charge, the Battle of Fort Hellstorm, the weapon came into the possession of a Deep Six soldier named Fyresyster.
The bards assert that this weapon is cursed with the spirit of Bone Pounder. They maintain that any who wield the weapon will become yet another gravestone for Bone Pounder.
