The colossal fortress of Vadrarg, constructed by the fire giants of the Talothand empire between 212 HE and 780 HE, stands as a towering coal-black citadel on the slopes of Agiid Hil.
In the year 761 HE, during one of the frequent conflicts between the Talothand and the emerging dragon-bloods of the Zeymah'kein Empire (600 HE - 1600 HE), Vadrarg found itself isolated and cut off from the outside world. This unprecedented situation compromised the entire subterranean defense network beneath Vadrarg. Rather than enduring a siege and the unsubstantiated rumor of a policy of no quarter, Vadrarg betrayed their kinsmen and allied with the Zeymah'kein. Until the final days of the Zeymah'kein Empire, Vadrarg's fire giants served loyally under the Dragon Lords of Zeymah'kein.
In addition to a colossal exterior fortress engineered for giants and dragons, Vadrarg possesses an equally expansive inner complex meticulously constructed to withstand prolonged sieges.
Today, a defiant region answering solely to minor lords, Vadrarg serves as the domain of fire giants, fire trolls, lesser dragons, and myriad other humanoids and creatures.
The term Baying of Vadrarg stems from the citadel's fifteen kennels where they continue to breed hell hounds and other fiery beasts.
