Maenedhel is the Underdark region situated beneath the Hive. It is renowned for being the birthplace of the Khazarkar. During the God Era, Set stole the relic Danzar-Khâl's Surveyor and utilized its powers of life creation to forge a race that would serve as his worshipers. He did this in secret, sequestering them in the depths of the Underdark. In the Otriring area of Huzar-Arân, he crafted an environment that functioned akin to the surface, with day and light conditions, changing seasons, and weather. This idyllic haven persisted for three centuries before Danzar-Khâl learned of Set's machinations and misuse of his artifact's abilities. In the Otriring Rebalancing, the Khazarkar were compelled to the surface with only their most essential possessions.
The subterranean domain beneath Maenedhel is designated Xinparak.
