Fjorstaki Rift

When the fjord bastion of Fjorstaki was under construction, a sect of Thyrm devotees became resolute in transforming the surrounding region, and perhaps the entire world, into the desolation of Fimbulwinter. This religious extremist group, the Anzar Sect, was led by a frost giant shaman named Anzar. Entrusted with the Webreaver, a weapon engineered for breaching the Web, she established the Fjorstaki Rift.

On Bal-Kriav, the rift's aperture lies at the core of the Fjorstaki ruin. Remaining open, the rift is the source of an entropic ice river, thrusting southward into the Giant Steps. Designated the Anzar Glacier, it connects to a far vaster one on the distant realm of Fimbulwinter; a continental-scale mass named Gjalvar Kjoll.
