In the First Epoch, a Lith-Crillion research vessel landed near the God Anvil Launch. It was a ghost ship, studied at Khulbarazâr and then reverse-engineered. This led to the creation of a class of vessels known as the Mhornar Skree, or "Dirt Barge" in the Dwarven tongue. These ships are powered by shadow magic engines that trick the Earth Seam into perceiving the vessel as Earthen, allowing the crew to pilot the ship along the river's current. Prior to the development of these ships, only Earthen beings could navigate against the river's flow, and they exploited this advantage for millennia by charging tolls for those seeking to travel the Earth Seam.
