The Esto'khar Conflict was a period of turmoil between the Draguron Syndicate and the indigenous inhabitants of Esto'khar. The most prominent of these "unruly" natives were the Itu Esto'khar, a formidable tribe numbering over 10,000 members. This sizable tribe, along with numerous smaller ones, engaged in prolonged battles and wars with each other and the greater threat of the Syndicate for more than a century.
The Syndicate initiated this conflict with the construction of Dragur, a forward operating base. Given the desires of Cloud Citadel buyers for silver and platinum at quadruple the market price, the Syndicate sought access to or control over the resources of Itu Esto'khar. The Syndicate's strategy was a calculated one, focusing on acquiring their foes, fostering discord, and exhausting the opposition while minimizing their own losses.
