The verdant Esto'khar is a hilly evergreen rainforest situated in the northeastern reaches of Cinazan and the southern extent of the Ice Cap region. This area's substantial precipitation is an indirect result of the Weathermaker. During the Titan Era, the utilization of this device drastically altered the local climate, amplifying rainfall well beyond pre-Aslauthroa levels as the empire incorporated it into territorial expansion efforts.
In the southeastern quarter of the forest, the area is riddled with aging mines and dilapidated keeps. These mines and keeps were constructed either by the hobgoblins that once inhabited the region or by the Draguron who came to dominate the area during the Titan Era Similar to the ruin of Dragur, these mines and ruins have become havens for the undead and other marauding monsters. The mines still hold precious ores, but the dangers of encountering ghosts, ghouls, and other undead are enough to deter all but the most desperate and foolhardy prospectors.
Esto'khar is a windswept locale, buffeted by the frigid gusts descending from the Ice Cap.
