On 15 War March 9 HE, with the conquest of the Eylami Stockades, the city-state of Griddrir became the capital of the Aslauthroan empire. One of the seven great Titan Empires, Aslauthroa dominated much of the Cinazan Region and parts of Faeglor, Miradelgûn, and the Ice Cap.
By conquest, Aslauthroa became an expansive empire encompassing diverse peoples, with subterranean interests managed by corrupt, quarrelsome Fomorian lords of petty fiefdoms, often precipitating military intervention. In the lawless regions of places like Eylami, ruthless military governors of the storm giants subjugated the lesser giants. The elite and minority within the empire were the storm giants. As the authors of law since the empire's inception, the Aslauthroan legal code favored the storm giants, instituting a regimented social structure mirroring the era when Talos ruled the Heinjar Sorgny, prioritizing the storm giant over the cloud giant, the cloud giant over the stone giant, and the stone giant over the earth giant.
The empire endured ten civil wars over the final two centuries of its existence, with the last conflict ultimately shattering the imperial order.
