East of the Fangs of Steirgar and north of Sahânzar lies a towering mountain range that the giants named after a legendary storm giant who fought alongside Talos during the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE).

In the Second Epoch, as part of their policy of cultural dominance and inflamed relations, the Khazarkar Empire designated the region as Thurnâtha across all their cartographic representations and historical documents, named after a distinguished Khazarkar figure during the reign of House Adrumul.

Very high mountains topping out at 39,000 feet, the Thurnâtha range extends from Cinazan into Ice Cap where it merges with the towering glacial walls of Khalas. Long home to cloud and storm giants, many of these giants answer to the Storm Lords; remnants of the Horgon Era, when they served as feudal lords under the Aslauthroan Empire (9 HE - 1891 HE).

In the Cinazan Front, a portion of the mountains was torn from the surface and elevated. Created by the opening of an Entropy Arch within Sapthiladân, this new region of floating mountains is known as Skyldr-Kerthjorg.
