Beneath these airborne peaks lie their former bases, now expansive plateaus. The floating mountains are frequently obscured by dense cloud cover, but on occasions of clear visibility, this awe-inspiring sight serves as a testament to the immense power contained within a single Entropy Arch.
On the night of 7 Witchrite 1832, the formidable Pillar of Horns arrived over the besieged Khazarkar city Sapthiladân. This imposing Ba'lith battleship, captained by the renowned Raxcvillibus Dumu-loc, then deployed an Entropy Arch into the city before departing.
Entropy devotees, gathered around the Entropy Arch in nearby structures, hastened to activate the device. One managed to traverse the portal, making the ultimate sacrifice to open a rift to the realm of Chaos. This ill-advised act unleashed devastation upon the city and beyond. A shockwave of chaotic energies erupted from the Entropy Arch, leveling dozens of buildings and two hundred feet of Sapthiladân 's northern wall. The blast continued into the Kerthjorg highlands, tearing mountains from their foundations and leaving them suspended a mile above the ground like floating sky islands.
