Galathrel was born in the jungle of Elphion. Like many of the sprites inhabiting the northern tracts of the jungle, she made a living by preying on the denizens of the EFS, stealing and causing mischief - a hallmark of her kind. Frequently changing groups, often due to others' envy of her exceptional intellect and diverse talents, she eventually headed north to the heart of Ba'lith civilization after a decade of restless migration and feigning lesser abilities around her peers. For the ensuing nine years, she operated a thieves guild along the roads and paths connecting Merorarg and Maravapthân, as well as the smaller holdings in between.

In 1698, Galathrel was imprisoned in the capital of Ba'lith for theft and harassment. As a Sprite, she proved to be an intriguing prisoner, which soon came to the attention of Emperor Raxcvillibus. The emperor visited her and was impressed by her intelligence and her meticulous recollection of every detail of her thefts and encounters. Prisoner 656G's jail cell bore witness to her artistic flair, as she had used chalk to sketch out her path through the capital city to this very cell, capturing the details of people she had heard and envisioning her surroundings, all while being blindfolded the entire time. Remarkably, she had managed to accomplish this feat. The emperor promptly ordered her release and subsequently appointed her as an advisor, though he first had to curb her chaotic tendencies. To this end, he employed psychic surgery, severing the pathways to chaotic energy, a trait commonly associated with Sprites. However, the emperor was unable to fully eradicate the Sprite 's natural inclination towards mischief-making, which was mostly harmless.

The Minotaur Trade Federation was founded on 14 Brighstar 1703. The establishment of this commercial alliance was inspired by Galathrel's examination of the Paradomea Consortium.

As Raxcvillibus 's most trusted advisors, she serves as a scribe and data analyst. In the Ba'lith capital, she is assisted by scores of scribes and record keepers.

Galathrel stands a mere 2 feet tall, her lithe frame adorned in a captivating light purplish-black hue. Her eyes, striated with shimmering light purple tones, gaze intently from her diminutive visage. As is common among her sprite kin, Galathrel favors remaining airborne over grounded stances.

On the Cinazan Front, she served as a crew member aboard the Pillar of Horns.
