The Harbinger of Chaos is a Primordial raptor, a Vikaron. For three centuries of the Lith-Crillion Era, it reigned as the apex predator of Cinazan. It nested in the Kernsking Koils, where it posed a constant threat to Gunrskolf's storm and cloud giants. In 851 LE, for five months, the Harbinger of Chaos preyed upon pilgrims visiting the Talos temple at Ottaki. It then grew bolder, attacking the temple itself before being driven off. Thereafter, the creature's hostility waned for nearly a century, followed by periods of it running amok. Various groups managed to wound and repel the beast, but never truly defeated it.
In the First Battle of Inôr, the Harbinger of Chaos assailed the Pillar of Horns. It was vanquished aboard this vessel by Rax and numerous other crew members.
The tawny-feathered raptor extended its immense wings, spanning ninety feet across. Its dazzling underside dazzled with a vibrant kaleidoscope of colors. From the nearest ribcage to Ribcage Bravo on the other side of the ship, the sight affected nearly all, some in awe-struck wonder, others gripped by crippling terror, and still others driven to a frenzy where they saw allies as foes.
