Jafknarri Groi is a road cutting down the Diiv Prok cliffs. The Jafknarri stone giants constructed this road over six decades, following a groove in the petrified form of Golruwyrm. One legend maintains that this groove represents a mortal wound inflicted upon Golruwyrm during her battle with the twin primordial lords Morterand and Mordemin.

Up until the Fall of Stygnhild, this was the only road up or down Diiv Prok that was blocked by the Jafknarri stone giants. During the Toomrur migration from the Aerie of Dragons to Thingrorn, the ogres suffered greatly when they attempted to force their passage. They retreated westward, with dozens succumbing to the desert heat or being devoured by primordial sand worms. The Toomrur, under the leadership of Ogre Lord Khadon, found an alternative path out of the desert, forcing their way through Abazuddan, eliminating hobgoblin tribes along the way, and claiming the young and non-combatants as slaves.

In the First Epoch, the Ogre Lord Golthess is credited as the first to outflank the Jafknarri. She marched down Jafknarri Groi with her main force and then deployed mountaineers to secure the flanks of the advance. The progress was gradual, but after four months of steady forward movement, Toomrur rangers were pushing behind the stone giant positions. The final onslaught commenced when Golthess rappelled down an imposing spire into the enemy leader's stronghold. She attacked swiftly, using her obsidian daggers to slice open both of his calves, crippling him. Golthess then fled the barrage of boulders and the thrusts of Stygnhild's personal guards. Before her escape, Stygnhild utilized his magical helm to blast her with a cone of sand and bones. This was insufficient to impede her, and she swung out from the ridge on the same rope she had descended. Though struck by a boulder that shattered her shoulder, Golthess, with her broken arm, blew the Horn of Ez'ginn, signaling an attack on all fronts. This marked the beginning of the battle known as the Fall of Stygnhild, which ended two days later with Stygnhild's demise. As part of the peace treaty, the Jafknarri were required to surrender two dozen children for service and permit the passage of Jafknarri Groi by anyone paying a reasonable toll.
