The Abazuddan mountain range is situated along the northwestern edge of Stafknir Hrerbjof, the Sands of Hell. The southern slopes serve as a natural barrier against the harsh desert winds, while on the opposing side, the mountains transition into the lush grasslands and hills of lower Thingrorn.
In the Demon Spawn War (89 GE - 269 GE), the northern reaches were safeguarded by the Covenant, while the southern lands were overrun by unconstrained demonic hordes.
In the Lith-Crillion Era, the dominion of Eydreid ushered in an era of commerce and security to the region. Situated amidst the southern slopes of Abazuddan, Eydreid's merchants pioneered secure trade routes traversing the sands into the Aerie of Dragons.
