Founded by the crown of Phlehorn (92 - 1080), Tarbhunarâg was constructed to safeguard the copper mines of the Gakhs and defend against elven raiders descending the vale of Arazandam. In 425, lacking the necessary support, Tarbhunarâg legally separated from the crown of Phlehorn, becoming an autonomous city-state. Two years later, Tarbhunarâg was designated the capital of the Daklode Monarchy.
Tarbhunarâg, a sprawling city, is constructed into the northern slope of a mountain known as Himmerlade. The southern walls of the city overlook the verdant vale of Tazundurka, while the northeastern ramparts gaze upon the vale of Arazandam, facing the elven territories of High Wood Country. Fortified within the mountain, with segmented defensive positions, scores of cannon and mortar emplacements, and the aerial support of giant eagles, Tarbhunarâg stands as an imposing and formidable citadel.
The subterranean mines of Tarbhunarâg constitute a sprawling labyrinth of streets, marketplaces, residential dwellings, and industrial zones.
