Telostyxe was established by fomorians evading their illithid overlords on the world Kriav. Following their escape through a feywild fuse, they constructed a new domain within the subterranean regions of Kydell.
Over the centuries that followed, they assimilated other peoples into their population, initially through enslavement, and later by transforming into an open city. With the dawn of the Malmus Empire, Telostyxe rose to become the capital city.
