The Molcombur Empire was established by the efreet. They governed over a populace of Salamanders for almost five centuries. Toppled by internal turmoil, the Efreet were pursued, imprisoned, "bottled," or slain by those they had long regarded as subservient. The Salamanders seized control, yet proved no more benevolent than the Efreet.
