In 1017, the Farinteen Dynasty was established, its leaders the Farinteen family. They would maintain an uninterrupted lineage of sovereignty for the subsequent five hundred years. By the conclusion of the Black Tide War (1465 - 1486), the Farinteen bloodline had been extinguished by the Grey-Nil.
