The Ithendelt Schism, a seven-year civil war, culminated in the exile of House Glorfindel and its allies. They traveled eastward across the Core Sea, founding Erchinor on 27 Brightstar 913. Alongside other families, they abolished the single-family rule of Ithendelt, establishing a council of family heads, the Gilraen Oligarchy.
