In the Demon Spawn War, spanning from 89 GE to 269 GE, the Covenant maintained a command center on the mystical island of Denellûth. On this sacred land, the Covenant's general, Athena, was assisted by six loyal handmaidens. They aided her in donning her god-forged armor, honing her hallowed blades, and attending to other essential duties. During Athena's absences, the handmaidens toiled in the forge, crafting weapons and armor to bolster the Covenant's war efforts.
When Asmodeus was cast out, becoming a Fallen Angel (255 GE), he dispatched teams of assassins against those who turned against him during his hearing. These were suicide missions, undertaken solely to demonstrate Asmodeus's reach and meticulous planning. Athena's handmaidens at Denellûth fell victim to these assassins. Bound by magical ritual, six spirits found their way back through the Hall of Hades, returning to Denellûth where they continued to forge armaments, but could no longer personally serve Athena.
