Benarrân Aphallanâth hails from a family that has ruled the Khazarkar Empire. Her grandfather, Setarch Hâlê Aphallanâth, governed the empire from 1523 to 1539. However, he did not attain legendary status until his death at the Battle of Borangrak Bridge. In this confrontation, the Khazarkar Empire's priest-emperor faced off against the Orchish Empire's emperor. Surprisingly, both sides reportedly ceased combat while their respective rulers engaged in battle. Despite being outmatched, Setarch Aphallanâth fought valiantly, earning him lasting renown. His remains were subsequently interred in one of Bandunazân's Pyramids of the Setarchs. Benarrân aspires to one day have a similar monument constructed in her honor.
Benarrân's smile, though marred by the scars of flame, would be a captivating one. She could have easily healed the burns to her face using her own divine magic, yet she opted to retain them as a trophy, a testament to her triumph in slaying one of the Eldritch Conclave's most formidable arch-mages.
