The Marching Twenty was an unusually sizable troupe of intrepid explorers, numbering between 15 and 20 members. They were all former soldiers of the Stormgur, esteemed and respected by allies and adversaries alike.
In the year 1445, the sovereign of Shoglomph enlisted the Marching Twenty for an expedition to explore the city's archaic demon quarters. Upon discovering the Arioch Cloud in 1446, the Paradomea Institute bestowed them with the Medallion of Dark Delvers.
In the year 1457, the Marching Twenty were employed by the Nil Koraaviik. They were dispatched to investigate the Crillion Comet. Those who survived the expedition succumbed to an untreatable, debilitating condition within days.
