The Harpoon Sisters are two islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago. The western island is Hînad-Hloph. Its counterpart is Kitho-Kir. These two islands were formed by a pair of volcanoes centuries ago. The calderas of these volcanoes are surrounded by dense jungle foliage. Each also contains a substantial lake that supplies much of the fresh water for the islands' streams, waterfalls, and residents.
The Harpoon Sisters are divided by a waterway known as Smicker's Fjord. On the southern edge of Kitho-Kir, overlooking the fjord, lie the ruins of Smicker's Lost. At the opposite end of the island is the settlement of Zerot.
Much of the undersea domain of the Harpoon Sisters is asserted by Tuc'hoom. Within the waters surrounding the Harpoon Sisters, numerous accounts exist of drowning pirates being rescued by the Merfolk of this empire.
