The Everburn Sash was a ceremonial sash worn by the Dragon Lords of Zeymah'kein. It was only donned during the ceremonies surrounding one's ascension to the position of the empire's leader. After the ceremony, the Everburn Sash, symbolizing the wearer's eternal reign, was stored in a vault until the next ruler claimed the title. In 1600 HE, with her capital city sacked, the Zeymah'kein Empire crumbled. Though highly sought after, the Everburn Sash was never recovered by the secret police of Mir'piamauza. The sash remained lost until late in the First Epoch, becoming a permanent possession of Menkentat, the founder of the Ag Envok Empire and its first Dragon Lord. Menkentat wore the Everburn Sash daily. Empowered by the followers of Ares, the sash is said to possess potent offensive and defensive magical abilities. Nextly, under the Dragon Lords of Zeymah'kein, it had only basic enchantments to maintain its cleanliness and resist wear, but now it was imbued with powerful magical defenses for the wearer and an array of offensive spells.
