In the Cinazan Front, a momentous battle unfolded amidst the hills of Armânuk. During this pivotal engagement, Queen Oggorknot Thjollod (referenced in the Hlimi Kingdoms) was slain by elite forces of the Khazarkar Empire. The fire giant queen's severed head was carried back as proof of her demise to the Khazarkar general commanding the defense of Armânuk. General Ginamlabar impaled the grisly trophy on a pike and taunted the enemy lines with it. Upon learning of this macabre display, King Thjollod recklessly ordered an all-out assault on Hill 12. It is said that the King and Queen shared one final embrace as he was pierced by the gruesome pike. King Oggorknot bellowed an ancient incantation, invoking the primordial power of Surtur in a plea for vengeance as he was cut down by Khazarkar soldiers and stone giant mercenaries, felling more than 30 attackers before his demise. It is believed that the Queen's Head Pike had been imbued with a baleful energy by the King's final words. When the pike was removed from the fallen monarch, it shattered into two pieces, both of which mysteriously vanished during the retreat of the Khazarkar armies eastward. The upper haft and blades of the pike became known as the poleaxe Oggorknot.
Oggorknot is a heavy poleaxe imbued with the enchantments of flame and knockback. This potent weapon derived its supernatural powers from the ancient incantation recited by King Thjollod.
